Very fast, on time appointments (doctor or procedures starts at the correct appointed time, no long waits) friendly and very nice environment.! Very please with my visits.
Please do yourself a favor. Find a urologist that is not working in the dark ages. Chesapeake does not have any type of general anesthesia. Every procedure (at least mine) was local and painful. I'm finding other urologist that have GA and are in the 21st century practicing medicine. There is no reason that Chesapeake should not be offering general anesthesia. As far as aftercare, there is none.
Do not come to this location. I had a family member see Rian Dickstien for surgery and he had no concern for his well-being the entire time. When he asked to be put under or to be given medication for the surgery he was dismissed and Rian made comments that were completely disrespectful. The surgery was painful and the staff working with the doctor were not able to perform basic tasks like inserting an iv. They made the procedure more painful by being unable to do anything correctly. My father went in last week for a procedure and it was the most awful experience he has ever endured. Was given no prior anesthesia (which he would have paid for even out of pocket), pain medicine or assistance beyond a Valium to help with anxiety? Not only that, But dr.
