We ordered 2 dozen large crabs on a Thursday not long after they opened. We were having a family reunion of sorts. It was a special occasion. I worried the quality would be sub par having not been a weekend when their inventory would turn over quickly. NOT THE CASE. These crabs were colossal, fat, heavy and hard shelled. I bought fresh little neck clams, 50 for $27.00 all were alive.
I had some time to kill before I left town. I had a wild idea to grab some oysters to fly home with. This place went out of their way to help! Even before knowing how much I was going to purchase, they offered gel ice packs and a styrofoam cooler to make getting home the smoothest endeavor possible. Thank you for going above and beyond!
#1.The best in the business.Best cooked crabs,best customer service.They even bring you order to the car while you wait.I have to admit.I steam great crabs, however when I purchase crabs from Chesapeake Seafood.I buy them steamed every time.
Had large crabs, cream of crab soup and chicken&fries basket yesterday. Everything was great, but those crabs were SUPERB!!! I love Chesapeake and the staff are very friendly every visit!
