My first visit to their office, almost 2 hours after my scheduled appt time, I was rushed through to an improperly sanitized exam table, to meet with a doctor for 15 minutes and receive a surgical appt and be sent on my way. Their surgical packet states that you need to meet with pre-anesthesia 10 days before the appt. When I contacted them at day 7, they said there was issues with my surgical submission, but it was going through. They would contact me later that afternoon or the next day. My knee replacement went well and everyone at this center did a great job. The one thing I want to point out is to buy a knee wrap online before your surgery so you don't need to take the one offered on surgery day. A third party billed me for $80 as it was not covered by insurance. I could buy a similar wrap at Amazon for $20-$30. I feel this was a rip off.
Before I can leave a review, I must give a brief history. Some 12 years ago I had a serious falling out with a gynecologist I had been seeing. As a result of that incident that “ doctor” published nasty comments about me that have followed me to every doctor I’ve seen since. As a result I have experienced varying degrees of animosity by “ doctors” and/or their support staff. I have learned over the years that doctors stick together right or wrong. I have called the office staff six times about scheduling imaging and the imaging center still does not have a fax from them. Save yourself the headache and just drive a little further to a Sentara facility.
