God forbid you have something really going on. It's impossible to reach someone, and then they forever to call back. I have been having issues with my BC and was calling for 3-4days. When I decided to just go inside the office to talk to someone; the nurse finally decided to give me a call and send me to the hospital. I stayed at the hospital for 7hrs and didn't receive a call from my gyn office till days after. Do not recommend this office. You can only ever reach the answering machine. It is hard to get a real human on the phone. Some of the office staff are very nice and others make you feel like you are crazy for seeking follow up care. I felt like a number and an inconvenience to them. Was having a miscarriage that was potentially ectopic and I do not feel like they did proper follow up or cared about my future fertility or long term impact at all.i did not trust them with my care and certainly would not trust them with the car... read more
Believe the bad reviews. I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant and I can confirm that even though they insist you check in early (and arrive ready to do a urine test), I have been kept waiting on average an additional 20-40 minutes for nearly every appointment. The worst time was when I was held up nearly an hour before I finally saw a practioner. This does not include having to wait to check out. I understand that this place gets a bad reputation for multiple reasons including wait times and phone issues. I have to say that Dr. Urban has delivered my last two babies and I have received nothing but excellent care from the entire staff during both pregnancies. Dr. Urban is simply the best- there is no one like her and her patient care is unmatched. Some of the nurses were really sweet but honestly my experience wasn’t the best. I loved centering. I was a bit small & young mother so my pregnancy was different and of course high risk. Towards the end of my pregnancy it got very painful and some days i was sent to the hospital. I tried to tell them and one doctor said they can’t do much about it and it was “normal” but they could offer another ultrasound as 36 weeks, but they never did even when I really felt like i needed one.
