It is with great pleasure that I write this review for Dr. Jason Williams and his staff. Dr. Williams is extremely educated and talented in his field. My wife and I both had cataract surgery this year. Dr Williams was the best. Made us feel very comfortable and his surgery and office staff are very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend Dr Williams. After my surgery I even won a golf tournament without my glasses of fifty years. Amazing being able to see clearly after all these years. Thank you Dr. Williams and everyone at Chesapeake Eye Center.
Patients BEWARE. Just got the FIRST BILL on Sept 3 for last visit. (all medical bills come "after insurance pays" and bill me for balance due)...... On Sept 11 (1 week later) I got a nasty NOTE BEFORE PLACEMENT. Said "SEVERAL attempts made to notify me of outstanding balance. Sending to collection if not paid in 30 days". WHAT!. Add small print at bottom of bill 3% CHARGE FOR CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS. Went to online payment site where credit card options with NO NOTICE IN Terms &Conditions about the 3% extra charge. Procedure performed on the wrong eye. I had my first LASIK procedure with Dr. Mark Whitten in 2005 for vision correction. Naturally, about 15 years later, I needed another correction and returned to Dr. Whitten for a consultation. During that visit, he recommended monovision, given my age at the time (late 40s). DO NOT LET BAD REVIEWS STEER YOU AWAY By far the best place on the shore for eyes. I have been living on the Eastern Shore for 56 years and out of all of the eye centers Chesapeake Eye has been my favorite. Despite moving to DE for a bit, I still drove an hour to Chesapeake Eye. You may see the poor reviews, but this place is amazing. I always feel so well taken care of and I had such a successful procedure 4 months ago. The old doctor retired and I have seen Chesapeake Eye flourish.
