Absolutely the kindest group of folks I have met. I have visited many assisted living facilities and this one tops the list. Their small family atmosphere is perfect for someone with FTD. My spouse has been struggling with dementia for quite a few years and I have been searching for just this type of caring atmosphere. The owner, Seth, is the kindest person I have met in an owner. The staff of Chesapeake were kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to help out.
My father was very well cared for during his brief stay at Chesapeake Cottage. The staff was very kind and accommodating to his needs. Mikesha was great to work with. I would definitely recommend this facility for your loved ones.
The choice to opt for assisted living is never an easy one, for the resident or their family. However, the staff at Chesapeake Cottage were greatly appreciated during a very difficult time. Mikesha and the ladies who worked there treated our mother with kindness and patience. She was well fed and kept clean and cared for. Our family and friends were able to visit freely and always welcome. I honestly don’t know how we would have coped without them!
We needed some place where mom would get the same or better care than her family could give her. The setting and family like atmosphere at Chesapeake Cottage Assisted Living at 6625 Whitesburg Road in Snow Hill, Md. was the ideal setting. Most staff are on a first name basis with the family members, especially Marie, along with the manager Mikesha .
