Clean facility with vegetation and wildlife to enjoy around it. Owners are a local family so they can often be found on site checking in with staff and sharing a laugh or story with the residents. There’s personal accountability there that you don’t always see. I work at an apartment community in the area and when I have a long term resident ready to transition from living on their own to assisted care, this is the first place I recommend!

We needed some place where mom would get the same or better care than her family could give her. The setting and family like atmosphere at Chesapeake Cottage Assisted Living at 6625 Whitesburg Road in Snow Hill, Md. was the ideal setting. Most staff are on a first name basis with the family members, especially Miss Ty and Alissa, along with the manager Mikesha Ballard. If you want your loved one to be taken care of in a very nice setting Chesapeake cottage is where you want to go. The staff works very hard to try to accommodate you and your family member.

Wonderful facility for my aunt. She is very well taken care of here. Everyone on the staff is friendly and kind as well. She says the food is great, huge plus!
