Excellent stop on my way North, back in July. Dock master loaned me a spark plug socket, really nice loaner SUV! Clean bathrooms and a pool...couldn't ask for more!
Chesapeake Boat Basin is top notch! Floating docks are new, the walkways are wide with ramps at any change in elevation. New concrete sidewalks, fresh bathrooms, sweet little club house and Adirondack chairs on the porch overlooking the marina. The staff is friendly, courteous and has you covered. They also got me a loaner car for an emergency run into Kilmarnock. All around great experience. My only regret is not staying longer!
Eric and staff were responsive and thorough. Both boat batteries were dead one weekend and 4 years old. We decided to replace them and that happened same day at my dock so I could get going again. Even better the tech looked in the bilge and found that the bilge pump likely was stuck on as the pump out hose had come loose. And they fixed that for me too. Greatly appreciate the extra thought into the problem rather than just new batteries. Great job!
Rented the 21 Whaler. Great boat, nearly new, couldn’t be better. Wes was amazing and super helpful.
Have stayed in other marinas in Va. but have never had a better experience anywhere!
