I’m consistently frustrated by their handling of prescriptions, particularly for diabetes management supplies. The staff repeatedly writes prescriptions incorrectly, and it feels almost intentional at this point. For example, Dexcom, which lasts 10 days, is often prescribed for 14 or 15 days, and Freestyle Libre is written for 10 days of use instead of the correct duration. I have been using Dr. Sarmiento for about 3 years now and have been very happy with her, her office and her staff. I love her medical style as she works hard at integrating traditional medicine with healthy lifestyle choices. This office offers a gym, a heated swimming pool, and a dietitian. In my opinion she is on the right track for all around good health. Very refreshing change from the norm. Go see for yourself.

Dr. Sarmiento is very knowledgeable and very professional. She sat down with me and listened to my physical as well as social and emotional issues. She went over my labs and discussed attainable goals after which she then referred me to her team consisting of a nutritionist and exercise coach to help me achieve them. Everyone in her staff is friendly, respectful and helpful the minute you enter the facility.
