The doctor refuses to see patient and or refer to pulmonology specialist as recommended by several ER doctors and one urgent care. Chertok. refuses to make earlier appointment with patient based on emergency dealing with a collapsed lung per ER. Chertok was to review patient’s file with RN and call patient back. He is at the VA in Cookeville now. He refuses to do anything though I get his hands are partially tied with the healthcare system there but he doesn’t try. He’ll argue any and everything you’re concerned about. Stay away if you’re a veteran.

Dr. Chertok was one of the best doctors that I have ever been to. My whole family went to him. We are so upset that he had to close his practice due to pandemic. He is going to be hard to replace.
