I was in Cherry Oak Palm Beach County for 9 months and the service was terrible, the laundry people washed my clothes when they wanted, not when I asked for it. When I arrived at the center they accommodated me in a room with a lady who smokes cigarettes, does not bathe, does not change her clothes, knowing the center that I am asthmatic, and the lady is very problematic. My mother has been a resident at Cherry Oak Palm Beach County ALF for over 4 years. Together we looked at several places and she chose Cherry Oak because it is small and comfortable on one floor. There is a nice dining room, activities, trips to Walmart and the local church brings Communion. There is an outdoor courtyard where residents can sit outside. I would like to express my strong disapproval of this facility and would not recommend it to anyone for their loved ones. My mother has been residing at this facility, and it has been a significant source of concern for me due to my busy schedule. Despite making several attempts to communicate with the management and other relevant parties, no resolution has been achieved.
