Sam and team were great to work with, from design to execution. We did a full basement buildout (starting from a dirt crawl space), with complex permitting, dig out, and construction, all while dealing with pre-existing concrete footings/foundation. The end result is beautiful, nicely complementing the rest of our home. Throughout the process, communication was easy and Sam helped us evaluate all the decisions that came up along the way. Would highly recommend working with Cherry Design + Build.
Sam and his team are great! We've completed two projects with Cherry Design + Build, including a major kitchen remodel that included removing a wall and significant structural work, and we've been very happy with the quality of their work and adherence to the project schedule. Sam stands by his work, so, if something's not right, he fixes it, and he was very helpful as we navigated the extra challenges (and opportunities) of remodeling in an old house.
Where do I start? I moved into my house 11 years ago and did 3 major projects with Sam. Kitchen renovation, basement remodel and sunroom extension + ADU + overall house maintenance. Sam and his crew turned our unfinished, spider-filled basement into a wonderful lair for our two children. A very thoughtful design maximized the use of space and no cut corners on the build. The work on our new bathroom was particularly great. Only regret is that we didn't have the budget to do some of Sam's cooler design ideas!
