Kayla was amazing and we are so happy she was there for us during our son’s birth. His birth did not go as planned (for medical reasons outside anyone’s control) and having her there to reassure us and be a calming presence while my husband and I were in uncharted territory was an enormous help. An amazing experience full of patience, positivity, and caring doulas and nurses who helped us on our journey as my husband and I enter our first time parents era. I loved the multiweek month-long course first led by Toni, and then the interactive sessions towards the end. Summer was our postpartum doula for about 3 months, and hiring her was truly one of the best investments we’ve ever made. As first-time parents without a support system, we honestly don’t know how we would’ve made it through those early newborn days without her. Cherry Blossom, particularly Doula Hannah, was so critical to our postpartum experience as we transitioned from a family of 3 to 4. Danielle was our doula for over 5 months. In the early days, she helped prepare food, fold laundry, get my adorable but clingy baby to sleep in his bed. Over time, she spent countless nights sleeping in the bed next to him, coaching my husband and I on solving toddler/baby “problems,” and truly became the family we needed.
