The Art Fair is very good; unfortunately, it is usually held on an extremely hot day, which makes it uncomfortable for those of us on the bus line. There is a good selection of artists here. Food, too, including gluten free. Dog friendly. Our other well known art fair. Recommended.

These folks took the coward's PC way out and are removing the John B. Castleman statue logo that they've been using for so many years in order to be "more inclusive." A broad based neighborhood association run by a board of 18 trustees elected to 3 year terms. The board meets monthly at the Highlands Shelby branch library and all meeting are open to the public. Due to the neighborhood association's work to obtain historic preservation status and hard work defending that status, the Cherokee Triangle has enjoyed the fastest growing property values in the city for most of the last 20 years. The proceeds from the very successful annual art fair fund multiple neighborhood projects.

a well meaning but misguided group of malcontents with little to do but obstruct the progress of the neighborhood. Filed a lawsuit against Landmarks which has made the neighborhood what is today!! They need to pay attention to sidewalks, green space, and tree planting and leave the Landmarks Commisson to contiune their good work. Totally controlled by a core group of well meaning individuals with tunnel vision, about the future of the neighborhood. If you are not evolving you are dying.
