I have a Cherokee trailer that is less than two years old. It is the first time is has been used long distance. I was hauling a Honda pioneer, which makes this not overloaded. We took it from Alabama to Colorado, and on our way back, the spring mount on the forward side of the axle was poorly welded which made it break. We risked our lives on the side of the interstate in Mississippi, trying to do some kind of repair so we could get it home. We will never purchase a Cherokee trailer again.
Really liking the new 81" x 14' trailer we ordered from TK at Cherokee. Stout, rugged and the perfect size for the KRX 4 seater and plenty of extra room when we haul the smaller 2 seat Ranger and coolers/gear on hunting trips. Will be pulling it all the way to Montana this fall for an elk hunt.
I have a 24’ aluminum toy hauler and have been so happy with this trailer. 2 years in I found a small weld defect and contacted them and they said bring it up we will fix it no charge. Real American business who understand building customers and keeping customers. I will buy from them again.
I purchased a dual axle Cherokee trailer in 2019. It has dual axles but I never hauled anything over 1000 to 1200 pound. A two seater SxS and a 25hp diesel yard tractor. Anyway the hitch is bowing up as it has never been overloaded. I assure you it hasn't. When I contacted the sales guy he tried, but said just had 3 year warranty at manufacturers discretion. Don't blame him, BUT I WILL NOT HAVE ANOTHER CHEROKEE TRAILER.
