Cherokee Electric does NOT participate in any programs that might HELP their customers.............they are not in Lite UP Texas, they don't give rate breaks for being all electric and they don't allow you to go with any of the piggy back companies out there that will lower your rates if you need to. In other words, they refuse to help their customers in ANY way.......they just want your money............period! I wouldn't buy or build where they are!
I'VE BEEN A CUSTOMER WITH CCECA FOR 17 YEARS AND I'M CURIOUS TO KNOW WHY IS'NT THERE SOME KIND OF EMERGENCY ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY ARE GOING THROUGH CRISIS OR MAYBE THERE IS AND I'M NOT AWARE OF IT. BUT SEVERAL TIME MY SPOUSE HAVE ENDURED SO ROUGH TIMES AND THERE WAS NO ORGANIZATION THAT WE KNEW OF TO TURN TO.
