Whoever the business office manager is or was is so rude. I asked for her name to obviously report her to the ED and she yelled “you don’t need my name I’m not giving that to you!” Called in regard to my mother transferring to another hospice and there was a hiccup with the dates. Whoever the BOM was SCREAMED “WE ARE NOT CHANGING THE DATE!!” Disgusting way to do business. If I could change it to 0 stars I would.
Not real thrilled at this point. Started out very terrific and it has slowly gone down hill. Have had several changes to care providers, some good some not so good. At this time the communication with family is almost non-existent. When I do raise a concern or question, I rarely receive a response. Changes in care is decided without my knowledge.
Our family wants to thank Cherish Hospice for their support and care given to our father and us when we all needed it. Tasha, Shannon, and Jenny helped make this hard transition more acceptable. The staff was extremely caring, compassionate, informative, and helped guide us through this hard time. They became part of family and we all looked forward to seeing each one of them. Thank you Cherish Hospice and especially Tasha, Shannon, and Jenny for caring for our family in our time of need.
As a member of the family involved the following are the significant observations/perceptions of the interaction with Cherish Hospice in Springfield, Ohio. As a trained health care provider familiar with hospice service I would NOT EVER recommend this hospice to anyone Despite website stating 24/7 care, there is ONLY a call center on weekends and loved one (stage 4 pancreatic cancer) received NO service/care from Cherish on the weekend.
