I want to say that choosing the right broker makes all the difference. As a single woman trying to find a broker that I felt had my best interest at heart was not easy. Ladies there is a "boys club" in real estate and I felt as comfortable as golffish in a shark tank and one who on an appointment to list my property encouraged me to drop my price because he was serving the interests of buyer who turned out to be a family member.
