I went to have an eye exam using my UHC medicare advantage membership. I presented my card and after the exam which was paid for by UHC, I asked about glasses knowing I would get a $100 credit from UHC. I told them about the credit and they took the order and showed the $100 credit. Later they said there is no credit because they do not accept the insurance for glasses. NEWER told me that they were not in the plan until AFTER I was billed and paid.
