I booked a dog sled experience and had an amazing time. Jen was incredible, she answered all of our questions and we learned so much about dog racing from her and her dogs. The dogs were so much fun. Jen introduced us to each one, and we got to harness them, and attach them to the line. We visited in Fall, so we rode in a side-by-side while the dogs ran ahead of us. It was so much fun, I would 100% recommend this to anyone who loves animals or wants to learn more about sled dogs.
This is an interesting place where you can not only learn about the reindeer but also meet them up close and personal. Check it out! You will not be disappointed! Reservations are suggested for your best experience. I would say that it is not wheelchair friendly. They also have dog sled rides.
This was such a memorable experience. We learned to leash the dogs for racing and was pulled on an ATV as there was no snow. Our guide was the best and so knowledgeable. The dogs were all very friendly too. Highly recommend.
What an outstanding experience! They did an excellent job teaching us about reindeer and their history. It was very interesting and educational. Then we got to go out with the reindeer, feeding them and wandering in the small forest area with them. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this experinece.
Highly recommend! We had a great time and learned so many new facts about reindeer and caribou. The session began with an educational discussion and then we headed out to feed lichens to the reindeer. Afterwards, we took three reindeer, including 5-month-old "Dipper" for a walk with the guide. Dipper was very interested in digging for mushrooms in the forest. Overall, they were well-behaved and it was fun to get up-close with these beautiful animals.
