Dr.Chen is absolutely TERRIBLE. Your peers do a better job in improving my joint pain and relief. It's UNFORTUNATE that there is only one physical therapy place just for Medi-Cal individuals. You lack having any patience towards your patients -- how are you a doctor? Do better and be more professional, stop conning people who are in dire need of medical attention for the sake of your paycheck.

By my primary doctor's referral, I visited United Effort Physical Therapy. On my last visit and probably my last one to waste anytime to this clinic to get no benefit for my condition except negative result. On the first visit, anyone would expect the Doctor? (DPT precisely) to evaluate patients' condition to establish and to proceed appropriately in treatments. I would agree with other reviews that Dr. Chen isn’t the nicest guy but the rest of the employees are great like Sharon, Anne and Sean. But the quality of this PT place is subpar and their goal is only to get you to walk and not really return to sport. The sessions are 30 mins where I would get 15 min treatments from the doctor and 15 mins of really basic exercises. After doing physical therapy in Dr. Chen’s clinic, I am very pleased with his new technique to help my left back’s soreness. The exercises he provided for practice each time was very helpful for my body to improve with good balance. Dr. Chen is knowledgeable on his field, and handle with care. His colleague also showed their patience toward patients needs. I am thankful for good health care clinic nearby
