Got TT surgery done by Dr Amy Chen. Worst experience with surgery. Dr claimed tumor around a nerve which did not show up in CT or US and took it out leading to vocal cord paralysis(this was not at all expected nor mentioned in pre surgery visits). She did not have the courtesy to meet post surgery and check on the patient before discharge. Traumatic experience with this surgeon in post surgery visits as well. Will never go back to see her again.
I miss my doctor Amy Chen. She left Emory and I need information , wher she’s working now. She’s the best doctor. Very nice, kind, smart person.
Dr. Chen basically saved my life. I had my TT on July 30th 2024, and there was a lot of blood involved. When I was getting discharged, nurses and doctors notice that my drain in my neck was filling the bulb up to 20ml, 30ml, in less than 10 minutes after emptying it and my neck started to swell with blood.
