Chemical bank has always had a thing with chexsystems. I have nothing negative on chexsystems, but I can't open an account, because my time at current address is only 3 months due to using a PO box billing address. This was with an account in good standing that I wanted to close and convert to a single account. 4Front opened me a new account no problem. Also, Chemical put a $2k cash deposit in someone elses account which was terrifying to resolve.

I was very happy before my Fifth Third account was sold to Chemical Bank.
Terrible customer service. Not very informative and they really just want to rush you out of the door and not deal with trying to help get an account set up.
