I have been coming to this practice for 19 years and never had an issue. Today I showed up for an 11:30 appointment at 11:40 because of a road closure on the way over from my office which is 30 minutes away. I’m about to push send on the pre-checkin info on the Jefferson portal and told by the front desk I have to reschedule because I am late. I apologized and explained the road closure. It’s actually refreshing to see another negative review of Richard Hyland. I would like to echo the experience another review had of having to push for this NP to take any symptom seriously. It’s an eye roll, or a huff and puff for a referral. And never mind when you get the office to call you back with the results. His answer is “everything’s normal” when second opinions always say otherwise. My experience with Richard Hyland, CRNP, was extremely disappointing. He repeatedly told me “I don’t know, I don’t know” when I came in with ongoing concerns and provided little direction or support. He did not perform a physical exam (called me and left a message to tell me “ I realize with the way the visit went we never really gotten into a physical examination or anything like that”) and only offered referrals or testing after I pushed for them even going as far as to ask if I thought I had a certain diagnosis, which was... read more
