Not a long trail but an hour stop that adding special touches to any road trip.
A quick, unique, and scenic outdoor stop, a brief roadside attraction rather than an all-day hiking destination. The walk from the parking lot to the viewing area takes only 20 to 30 minutes, unless you want to choose the longest section of the trails. A 450 million-year old exposed red Queenston.
Worst experience visiting this place in years. The parking doesn't allow pay on site and have to be reserved in advance. There's no place to stop and buy the tickets and the local traffic and people are rude if you try to squeeze by and stop for 2 minutes. Do not recommend! Plus the badlands themselves just look like plain single color dirt now. Not how it used to be.
