About three weeks ago Mom moved into her new home at Chelsea Place, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the experience so far. The transition was nearly seamless, which made an emotional and stressful time so much easier for our family. From day one, the staff has been incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. Mona is the front desk person and is the smiling face of the community. All the staff are so thoughtful, caring and helpful. This is the best alzheimers community I've been in. Big thank you to Chelsea Place.
My father spent the last 2 years of his life here and I couldn’t have asked for better care for him and this dementia journey… The staff is amazing and so loving to all the residents. I can’t recommend Chelsea Place enough for anyone who has a loved one with dementia. Iva the director is the most compassionate and caring lady I’ve met! She was always there for our family any time we needed anything or just needed a shoulder to lean on.
I waited a month after entrusting my Dad to Chelsea Place before writing this review. I have spent hours with him in his room, the dining room, and the community room. I am amazed at the sincere interest of the caregivers and administrators, and very grateful I found this place. In the dining room I saw two absolutely incredible women, Viviane and Tegest, exercising seemingly endless patience and compassion, ensuring that every resident eats, even though some habitually resist and try to leave.
