The park is ill managed by a supervisor who picks and chooses which part of the park is within their purview. He doesn’t let park workers clean the dog park, nor do they reprimand dog owners who don’t clean up after their dogs. When I asked the supervisor questions about the dog park, he simply turned around and walked away from me. I asked him for his name but he just kept walking. My go to street workout spot
Solid Chelsea spot. Basketball and handball courts always running, field gets good use. Playground works for kids, benches to sit. Doughboy statue in the corner is random but cool. Bathrooms are hit or miss, sometimes locked. Gets busy but never insane. Good neighborhood park.
