If I could give this place less than one star, I would. I had a terrible experience and ended up leaving after just 5 days. I felt pressured and uncomfortable in the environment, and the owners behavior was, in my opinion, extremely aggressive and unprofessional and I was made to feel unwelcome and unsafe due to her actions. I felt disrespected after experiencing being shouted at, harassment and discriminatory comments that made me feel marginalized. Hello. I have lived at Hoffman Plaza Apartments for 23 years, and I enjoy the atmosphere here. Studio City is a quiet neighborhood, and everything is within walking distance. The property is well-appointed, well-maintained and managed by Carolyn Wallace. Ivan Zazueta is the maintenance supervisor and does an excellent job -- he usually responses to a maintenance request within the hour. I highly recommend this location as a residence. Ron Cossey
A terrible experience. DM me on Instagram tonyhamilton7272 for a full rundown of the crap the owner pulled. The final straw was the fact that she billed me and only me unjustly for the clog in a common sewer line. I up and moved without delay. One time someone in the building had their keys taken so management thought it was prudent to chain the access to the garage locked. Good luck moving here. The owner is irrational and the manager is just plain unfriendly.
I have lived here for over 10 years and there's a good reason for that. The building is maintained above standards, the management and maintenance staff are always personable and caring, and it feels like home. I'm so happy I found this place. Clean, quiet, safe. Hard to beat.
