I moved to Mira Vie Manalapan approximately two years ago, following a stroke. When I arrived, I couldn't walk I was confined to a wheelchair and had to be pushed. Between my diligence determination and fabulous rehab team and caregivers at Mira Vie I am now up and walking even without a walker. One of my favorite places in the community is in the back garden and the gazebo where I can listen to my music as loud as I'd like and make phone calls in private. My mom transferred from a 3 year stay at Mira Vie Clifton to Mira Vie Manalapan in April due to a closer proximity to my Manalapan home. She is on the memory care unit and has adjusted well to the move. Every staff member we have met has been amazing! Leadership is accessible and responsive. All the caregivers are kind and attentive. I have been the Reformed chirch rehab for 2 1/2 months when I came in. I couldn’t even sit up by myself now that I’m leaving. I’m walking out with a walker and getting in the car I couldn’t ask for better care. I have been at this facility six days a week since my mom moved in to the memory care unit in January. I have only experienced kind, professional and personable staff members, including the nurses, aides, management, and receptionist positions.
