So then I had to wait 30 minutes for the cleaning, to which he did even though I was booked with a hygienist, which tells me once again the scare tactics are to get you to pay $500 plus out of pocket for root planing/scaling instead of what you went their for. I have never in my entire life had a health care professional behave that way. IT was straight bullying and scare tactics to get me to purchase their services. I will pay out of pocket for cleanings if needed moving forward. Go at your own risk.
3 Strikes and they are out. The first time I went I had Dr. Schroff, he was great, very kind and I had a quick painless cleaning. At that visit he suggested a deep cleaning/root/planing/scaling. I told him I would look into it and let him know, to which he said "ok, we will do a regular cleaning this time" I thought that was odd, but that was all that was said and I scheduled my next appointment for six months later.
