Today we received our keys to our new home. It’s been a rough ride for any business but for a builder, a nightmare. Thankyou to Peter and his team for a beautiful home. With a bit of zigging and zagging, and great communication from the professional, Maria, we got there in the end. We are grateful and feel blessed to have such a lovely home. Jen and Rex. Teranorra.
If you want to build a house that grows mould after 6 months because they fail to install the correct ventilation and fail to pick up on it at all stages of your build, than I recommend you build a Chelbrook home. If you prefer not to have mould in your newly built house, stay clear of building with them. They also fail to provide the appropriate reports so you are kept in the dark in what type of mould you are dealing with!
Overall a reasonable build with some very good points. However certain aspects have caused us a lot of money in expensive and difficult repairs which should really never have happened in the first place. Chelbrooke not interested as was passed the statute of limitations for builder liability when issues became apparent.
Well, my experience with this builder is very unpleasant. They never keep promises they make and never on time. Sub-contractors the use has poor management too. This company's after service is like nothing. Spending so much money in building a house you should be more careful in selecting one.
