we had a really good time riding the railroad
We bought our tickets online in advance. You cannot do that same day. All same day tickets must be in person at their Yacolt location. They currently have a small backup train as the main one is being repaired. Cannot fault them for this as it was still a fun experience with a stop to see Dry Creek Falls. Short hike to the falls and they give you 20 minutes to stretch after sitting for an hour. We did the Fall Leaves ride.
I had a wonderful time at Chelatchie Prairie Railroad today! Took my Mom for some "us" time amd she smiled the whole time.
It was a fun afternoon. The train stops in the way back giving you enough time to hike to the falls.
