A small and cozy place for good comfort food. We always try to stop when we're in the area.
The food was fresh and delicious, the service was very good, the atmosphere was the best. My soon to be wife loves Vermont. Her family was from there, so every time that we leave the area to return home to western New York, part of her stays in Vermont.
The restaurant closed early today--which was fine. We came in an hour before closing (and we're out by the time they closed) Our waitress was audibly complaining as other guests came in--this doesn't exactly scream hospitality. In addition, I kept finding small black hairs in my food and on my plates. It happens sometimes, but it just seemed excessive. Two out of three dishes I ordered had hair in them. Nice spot. Clean and comfortable. Great coffee. Service was kind and friendly. Food came out fast and was good. Solid value for the price.
