UPDATE — in response to the owner: I need to correct something stated in the response. No one remade my calzone. I accepted the original calzone exactly as it was, paid full price for it, and left with it. I have my receipt. The other calzone being referenced was my cousin’s separate order for her daughter. It was not a replacement or remake of mine. Please don’t represent another customer’s purchase as though your restaurant remade my food to resolve my complaint. First timer: Know before you go…calzones are TOPPED with garlic sauce👀😖😞. Florida thing? Not in NY, NJ. I’d like to hear some thoughts, if you’re reading this review, where are you from and how do they make calzones?

By far best pizza in Clermont/groveland/minneola. Easily the best pizza in the Orlando metro area. Being family-owned and operated, Chef It Up delivers an authentic vibe and top-tier service that chain spots just can't match. You can tell they cut zero corners: the dough has the perfect texture, and the sauce is made fresh from scratch with serious care. Update: I tried to come back because we had such a good experience the first time. Google says they open at 11, but Slice says they don’t open until noon. No biggy. When my phone call didn’t go through, I ordered and tipped though Slice. Order was confirmed. When I was getting out of my car to get my order that was quoted being ready for 12:30, I got an email requesting it be pushed back almost an hour. Slightly inconvenient, but after driving 35 minutes, I figured once again, no biggie, I’ll just go in and place the order. ... read more
