Our family of 4 rented 2 canoes this weekend. Had a lovely, peaceful trip down the Shiawassee River. Dan made it really easy to book and his equipment was perfect. So many turtles! We'll be back, thank you!
Cheff is the man. Always a great time
Overall it was a good experience. I have my own kayak but was solo camping and just decided to rent one so I didn't have to find other transportation. Paddled from Byron to Walnut Hills Campground. There was one spot that we had to portage around a tree. The rest of the trip was very pleasant. We saw a couple Eagles along the trip too.
Great local place and feels like your up north. Drop in in Byron and kayaked back to Cheffs Landing area.
