My MIL has some old Chicago Cutlery knives that have been past down from her mother. Was looking for place to get them sharpened for a gift. She was very very happy with the results and able to use her heirloom knives for the holidays. Also had a hatchet done at the same time and very impressed with the results. Had 4 more knives done recently and agian very impressed with results. Pick up and drop off is very easy after setting up appointment. I definitely recommend Chef Knifeworks for sharpening your home knives. Jason just did 2 knives for me that are now sharp and beautiful. Drop-off and pickup were easy with a very fast turnaround. You don't realize how dull your knives are until you get them sharpened. What a great service!

Superb experience. Went from almost throwing our knives out because they were terribly lettuce-edged and as dull as could be, to ordering a second round to handle the rest of our knives. The service is simple, quick (ours were done in 24 hours), cost-effective, and super-effective. Just be careful, your knives will actually be incredibly sharp when you get them back!

New customer…..very impressed after my first experience. Jason was responsive, knowledgeable and professional on the communication/customer service side. The service provided was also top notch, knives came back as sharp and straight as new. Jason was communicative throughout the process and delivered on his next day commitment. I left my knives with Jason for a tune-up before Thanksgiving. I was happy with how fast he got them back to me and the fair price. On Thanksgiving, with 3 turkeys to tackle, I was grateful that Jason had done a great job of sharpening the knives.
