Chef Xavier was a great experience! Although Chef was over an hour late, he did arrive ready to cook! He prepared a great appetizer of burrata, arugula, tomatoes with aged balsamic glaze. The main course was steak with chimichurri, roasted potatoes, and asparagus. All cooked to perfection and very tasty! Chef in the Valley catered our wedding farewell brunch for about 75 people. The food was AMAZING. Chef Xavier worked with me to come up with a menu that was PERFECT for a party of diverse tastes and preferences stopping by for a quick bite, but the food was so delicious people stayed longer than expected to eat seconds and thirds. We hired Xavier for a dinner for 7 people. Xavier was quick to respond to emails and was helpful with info that helped us to plan the night and menu. All 7 of us were blown away by the quality of the food that he cooked. Everything was cooked to perfection. We did appetizer + mains and were all sad that we had decided not to do dessert also because everything else was so good. We did family style which was absolutely the right call. Xavier catered my mom’s 80th birthday party and he was amazing! We had a variety of allergies/dietary restrictions and he was able to accommodate everyone while still providing a varied and delicious menu. He was extremely responsive to all of my questions and the staff he brought was professional and never stopped moving. He and his team helped make the party a very special event for my family and I am very grateful to him. I would absolutely work with him again. Highly recommend!
