Unfortunately, our experience with Sharks has been disappointing. Team placements don’t seem to be based on skill, effort, or ability, but rather on favoritism. Many talented athletes who put in the work are passed by, while others are moved ahead for reasons that aren’t clear. It’s discouraging to see kids who train hard not given fair opportunities. Kids had great experience here.
Such a disappointing experience. We tried our greatest to accept and trust the process, however, the process is very one sided. The two managers who rarely are seen in the gym are bullies and make teams based on feelings and friendships. They claim teams are built on skill set, but they are absolutely not.
