Extremely rude back staff. I could hear her trash talking me from the room. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable at an urgent care.
This place used to be good years ago. Now? They have turned away my mother and now my daughter. They refer us to the emergency despite us calling before we get there to make sure they can see whatever symptoms are being experienced. My daughter had a fever - Doctor wouldn’t even look at her ears, nose , throat. Nothing. And told the nurse for us to go to the ER for an x ray?? In the history, I stated fever, decreased appetite. Brought my daughter bc she busted her head open. The Dr took 2 seconds said she didn’t need anything and shipped us out the door. No antibodies, didn’t see if she had a concussion, or get a staple to close the wound. Mind you it’s been right at an hour since the accident and it is still bleeding. I understand some wounds don’t need a staple or stitches but we don’t know what cut her head so why not give a round of antibiotics to help prevent an infection. Opelousas Went yesterday afternoon, where I was dxd with covid. RXs were to be sent to my pharmacy. By 7, pharmacy never got them. Called Urgent care around 7 30ish cuz they close at 8. Left a voice message asking when they would be sent and asked for a call back. No one called me back. RXs still not sent. Called the clinic at 9 am this morning… asked they be sent ASAP-nothing.
