Used checker for our drive to the airport and our return home for the london airport. I booked them using their application. It was easy. The drivers were on time, professional and accommodating. Would absolutely use them again. Ps... their price was competive to Uber
Ignorant dispatch . I work for a bar and l the customers ask me to call a cab a lot. So I called a cab for a customer last week. And this week I call and I’m banned lol the dispatch hangs up. Never been so offended. I will use another cab company. When I called from another number the rude dispatch, probably owner told me to never call again lol. I will be referring other customers. Beware hidden tip! Booked for airport at flat rate. The bill was a bit higher but I assumed tax. On the detailed invoice (sent after the ride is over) it showed a 15% gratuity. And i had already tipped. No mention of this anywhere. Driver was doing 125 km/hour on Veterans in icy conditions. Car was old, transmission slipping. Used Lyft last time: way better, way cheaper by nearly half.
Waited 40 minutes called at 751am no driver canceled at 843am Shame
I genuinely expected a professional driver—especially one operating a cab—to have a basic understanding of Canadian driving regulations. Apparently that was optimistic. Highlights included rolling through stop signs (a full stop is not optional, particularly on hospital grounds where patients and staff are walking) and attempting a left turn by stopping between the left-turn lane and the middle lane, effectively blocking traffic instead of, you know… using the actual left-turn lane.
