Location is the most ideal component of this place, otherwise I'd seek other accommodations. The apartment was ok at best. There was a nasty musty smell which you had to empty the dehumidifier up to 3 times a day to attempt to keep the odor at bay. Roaches, lots of them and some were very large running all over the floors, which were also not very clean saw many dead roaches in the corners and under chairs. Location was the only good thing I can say. Remotes for tv's needed new batteries as 2 out of 3 didn't work. You can hear and feel every noisy footstep above your head. The refrigerator door ice and water dispenser didn't work. One of the bathrooms hand held showers didn't work and there was no place to put shampoo or soap in the shower except on the floor. the location was right on time! we were in the middle of it all! i started to get a hotel room, but for a few dollars more. we had two bdrms, two baths, full kitchen and large living room. the communication was on point, no lag or delay. very nice! we will stay again!!
Stayed at 35 Cannon. Newly renovated, nicely decorated with up to date appliances. Located a block and a half from upper King St. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Checkin Charleston (we spoke with Joseph) provided timely communication and were overall extremely pleasant to do business with.
I had a great experience with the Check-in Charleston team and their 2 bedroom unit in Quarters on King. They, particularly Emily, couldn’t have been more prompt, helpful or friendly. The unit itself (202) exceeded my expectations. It has a large open family room/kitchenette space with 10’ or so ceilings throughout and large bedrooms with comfortable beds plus tons of closets and storage space if needed.
