I would never recommend this oncologist to anyone. My father was under her care, and the experience was absolutely devastating. From the very beginning, she rarely listened to us when we brought up concerns. For over a month before his death, we kept reporting that his feet and legs were swelling badly, and she completely brushed it off. Neha R Chawla, MD, should not be permitted to care for patients. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with cancer and assigned this physician as your oncologist, it is imperative that you seek alternative treatment. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was under the care of Dr. Chawla for two years. My father was recieving treatment for a rare form of leukemia. All efforts were exhausted, my father was getting worse not better, and instead of telling us there was no more that could be done, Dr. Neha Chawla continued to treat my father giving us hope until he passed away. He developed breathing issues, which come to find out, was pneumonia in his lungs.
