Word of mouth landed me here for my Allison stuck in limp mode. Completely thought it’d be a complete rebuild but Alex called and said great news, you’ve got some bare wires and I’ll have you back on the road by the end of today! I have a 1945 Chevy school bus that been restored and updated with 1 gen Cummins diesel and 2nd gen Dodge transmission. The company that installed it was never able to get the transmission quite right. After searching for a company that would be willing to undertake my conversion , Chavez Transmission, was willing to look at it. Many shops won’t touch the bus because it is a retrofit. I have the dreaded 68RFE in 18 Ram and had a small leak to my bypass, I have a warranty with them and they gave me no hassles or questions. Topped my fluid and fixed the leak. Truck drives great. Highly recommend.
