Dining Hall at Chautauqua ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was gifted an overnight stay at Chautauqua by my sister and brother-in-law, which was such a thoughtful and generous gift. After checking in, I walked from my lodge to the Dining Hall — a beautiful and peaceful stroll. When I arrived, I wasn’t sure whether to seat myself, but the staff warmly welcomed me and invited me to choose anywhere I’d like to sit. Enjoyed a large family dinner of 13 here. Split the butternut squash shrimp pasta and braised bison with my partner. Would get both again. Shared the elk sausage and brie dishes with the table. Would probably only get the elk sausage again. Sucked down three Oaxacan Sting cocktails. Vibes were classic and charming. Classy but not imposing. Very #colorado.
April 2026 we happily revisited the historic dining hall. the meals were fresh & delish as always! maybe the server was in training. ❤️ the el fresco option. it's a challenge to snap a pic of the brussel sprout app as it's so delish we all dig in ❤️
Early dinner during off season. The charm & history of the restaurant is real Our server was very pleasant; our food came out in a timely manner & hot. The Waldorf salad, salmon & drinks were A+ We enjoyed a relaxing, no pressure meal. Very reasonable $$ for what we enjoyed. Reservations suggested
After a long trek on the Chautauqua trail and playground fun, this was a cozy spot to get some lunch. The staff was able to accommodate us as a walk in and the food was really good. Definitely recommend the bison or turkey burgers and OMG the butternut squash soup. 🤤
