Red Dot is an economical way to get to the airport, but I would not recommend using them for getting back home after a long flight because their "reservations" include a 45 minute wait period and sometimes they're even later than that. Basically, they show up when they show up. It might be 20 minutes, it might be an hour. In my case, I called when I reached the gate, and then waited 1 hr, 10 minutes. There is a company that is out of west hartford you should consider using. They have free use of WII-FII internet connection which is amazing and good for business travelers for NO EXTRA CHARGE. Rates are just as low as any other company in CT. Cars are brand new, without a dent or scratch. High end vehicles, Lexus vehicles. We had made reservations with Red Dot by long distance from Denver Airport. They accepted our credit card payment and gave us instructions for calling them when we arrived at Laguardia which was to call them on Phone 26. An attendent at the airport directed us to phone 26 (which was near the Welcome Booth at baggage arrival). When we called, the operator had a record of our reservation and said the driver would be there in 20 minutes. The company doesn't not let customers know about the wait time before they go to Stamford. After 10 hours of delay of our plane we ended up waiting for 2 hours at the hotel, when we would could have gotten home in two hours taking Metro North. I don't expect company to lose money by making poor business decision, but I certainly expect to be given an adequate information in order to make the best decision for me. I will not use this service again. Very disrespectful!
