We were staying in Siren for a nearby wedding last weekend. As the hotel’s breakfast left something to be desired, we opted to walk a few doors down to the Chattering Squirrel instead. Tried to order a lunch here based on the positive reviews and menu. Unfortunately, we were told that "they weren't serving hot food" anymore, so our option were cold cuts or egg/chicken salad sandwiches or wraps. I watched as two other customers were told they just didn't have soup. I paid $7.50 for a half egg salad sandwich, which is supposed to come on whole grain bread.
