Had gone to this clinic for a year and a half. Periodically there would be times that couldn't get the shots in a timely manner due to the serum not being ordered on time. They would say there was no place for the shots to be given that they knew of in Athens, Etowah or Madisonville. Did some calling around and found a doctor out of Maryville, a five minute difference from our home to them. So, I got allergy skin tests done at the Cleveland office. Overall they were quick and seemed to know what they were doing. I got done with the tests and office visit in under 2 hours. However, when I got the bill through the mail it was $1,170.00 the insurance paid part and I still paid $522.10 out of pocket. When I googled to to find cost of skin It says Skin tests typically cost between $60 and $300, That being said they got the price up to $1,170.00. Find another clinic to go to Cleveland, TN.
For most of my life, the beautiful plant life in Eastern Tennesse has made me miserable each spring and fall. Depite knowing allergy shots might help my situation I did not pursue this option due to the long waits involved in any medical office.
