This facility may look clean and inviting on the surface, but the level of care my husband received was deeply disappointing and even dangerous. I’m giving two stars solely because of the one aides who actually did their jobs and treated my husband with kindness. Beyond that, the experience was unacceptable. My husband, who has diabetes, was not given proper medical attention. His blood sugar wasn’t checked for the first three days of his stay, and he was only there for four days total. All the nurses have been so kind. Doing a wonderful job taking care of mu mother.
I can’t say enough good things about Chatsworth at PGA. My mother-in-law fell and broke some bones and after an excellent tour and meeting with the Director, Kris, we chose Chatsworth for her care. The staff was so caring and professional. The nurses and the aides were wonderful. PT and OT got her walking again. No one gave up on a very dire situation. The facilities are beautiful and comfortable. We visited regularly, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly.
Very few people seemed to care about anyone or anything, with poor and often disrespectful attitudes. Meds were consistently administered incorrectly, waiting for help was delayed up to 90 min. at a time, and I would never recommend this place to anyone.
