A call should have been made to me a few days to surgery but having made payment for the service, was called less than 24 hrs to my surgery, asked to immediately stop what I was eating and that I would be called back as was supposed to be on a water fast but no one had actually rang me to inform prior🤷‍♀️. The very rude person from the facility then called and informed that my surgery was now cancelled and to contact my private doctor for details, was stunned . This relatively new private hospital is primarily for day surgery admissions. Admission is relatively easy if you have the necessary paperwork completed beforehand. We had no problems with admission and discharge today. To make patient drop offs and pick ups easier, the hospital has designated 6 parking spaces at the basement for 10 minutes use. An excellent idea. If you need to stay longer, then use the Westfield parking complex nearby that gives you 3 hours free parking. Hospital staff are friendly and helpful. There's ple... read more
