I recently underwent wisdom teeth removal at Chatswood Private Hospital. The surgical team was professional, and the procedure itself was handled well. However, the recovery experience could be improved. I was asked to sit up and get changed quite soon after waking from anaesthetic, while still feeling very drowsy, which led to significant nausea and vomiting. Horrible horrible horrible.
A call should have been made to me a few days to surgery but having made payment for the service, was called less than 24 hrs to my surgery, asked to immediately stop what I was eating and that I would be called back as was supposed to be on a water fast but no one had actually rang me to inform prior🤷♀️. The very rude person from the facility then called and informed that my surgery was now cancelled and to contact my private doctor for details, was stunned .
