I was very disappointed with the behaviour of the person who did my scan. He was rude, raised his voice at me, and his attitude was completely unprofessional. Patients should always be treated with respect, and it is not acceptable for any staff member to behave badly toward a patient at any time. Everyone has the right to receive care in a safe and respectful environment. This is reasonably large imaging centre that bulk bills mostly. It's growing in popularity and is located at a quiet street in Chatswood. Turnaround times for services are good with most results available in a day. Staff are friendly and helpful. Small waiting area at reception for patients. Parking in this area can be tricky, so try the Westfield or Chatswood chase malls for free 3 hours parking. Open most days of the week.
Had an MRI taken a week and a half ago, have been requesting my results daily and have travelled back to Chatswood to personally inform them that my MRI report still hasn't been received. I was told it would take only two business days, and I am very disappointed with the efficiency of this Medical Centre. They specifically messaged us to come in 10 minutes early at 12:20, yet when we arrived we were made to wait until 1pm. When we asked at reception, they insisted our CT booking was for 1pm even though we had written confirmation from them for 12:30 (which I had also confirmed verbally at the start). I had a very unpleasant experience during my ultrasound appointment today. The sonographer was extremely rude — when I tried to explain the areas where I was feeling discomfort, I was repeatedly told to "shut up," which is completely unacceptable in a healthcare setting. I understand that ultrasound staff cannot provide results directly, but instead of explaining this politely, the sonographer said that they could only tell me something if I was “dying.” This came across as insensitive and unprofessional.
