I lived in Chatham Square for 3 years! Loved it! I moved to Houston for better job opportunities, but honestly, Houston sucks. Their housing market sucks, so many homeless people, no resources, dirty, and absolutely no jobs! I am considering moving back to Lafayette and I’m hoping I could get back in there. I will be calling Mrs.Chris soon!
There's a really long waiting list to get an apartment here, but the wait is worth it! Low income housing is notoriously horrible, but Chatham Square is the polar opposite. I live on a disability check of less than $1000/month. I never in a million years would have thought I'd be able to move out of my mother's home and into my own place. But with the assistance of the Lafayette Housing Authority and the management here, I was able to get into a unit that's perfect for me. I have lived here since October of 2013. It has a small staff but they manage to be efficient and helpful. I would recommend Chatham Square to everyone.
The management is AWESOME. Now nice place to live. Cris is the BEST property manager in Lafayette
